Abstract
This article discusses the changes made to end of life rituals in the United States and internationally due to COVID-19. The article details Islamic bathing rituals in Egypt, Hindu funeral pyres along the Ganges, Catholic Priests in the U.S. performing last rites, and others. The article discusses the response of religious organizations and individuals to the change of end of life rituals. Dr. Glenys Caswell of the University of Nottingham and Dr. William Hoy of Baylor University are featured in the article.
