Abstract
In Bangladesh, Muslims and people of other religious traditions were restricted from gathering in their places of worship due to COVID-19 until the Ministry of Religious Affairs’ decision to end the restrictions. The article discusses the initial restrictions, particularly on Muslims praying five times a day, which is a part of the five pillars of Islam. The article specifically discusses the Tarabi, Zhor, and Jumma prayers.
