Abstract
This article details the funeral experience of Midwesterners in Ohio amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The article details state government response, in addition to recommendations from the Ohio Funeral Directors Association. Other topics such as livestream funerals, drive-thru funerals, and social distancing are discussed. The article features President Bob Ryan of Egan-Ryan Funeral Home, Manager Jim Anderson of Newcomer Cremations, Funerals & Receptions, Executive Director Melissa Sullivan of the Ohio Funeral Directors Association, and Owner Scott Underwood of Underwood Funeral Homes.
