Abstract
This article discusses the adaptations made, due to COVID-19, to the Hindu nine day period, Chaitra Navaratri, which includes the Hindu New Year and the festival of Ramanavami. The article details the guilt and negative feelings experienced by many Hindus who cannot celebrate and worship at a temple due to government regulations. The article features and interviews many different Indian Hindus regarding their religious experience during COVID-19.
