Reflective Quote

My experience was awesome. I made history, not just with Seita, my peers, and the many people I got to know. I made history for myself, I did something no one in my family has ever done. I showed my younger self that I will accomplish things that will motivate other people. I lived in the Dominican Republic for nine days, I immersed myself into the culture. I got to catch up with some old friends, and even learn Dominican Spanish and culture norms. My experience was mind altering because I learned to look at things from a different perspective. What I viewed as normal before coming on this trip has changed. Normal is this idea of perfection, that people stress about. But it does not exist. Everyone’s experience is different because their circumstances are different.
