Being the first cohort of Seita Scholars to study abroad was an honor. It gave me the opportunity to meet new people and learn about different perspectives and cultures. The study abroad experience challenged me to step out of my comfort zone, embrace new experiences, and confront unfamiliar situations. I feel even more empowered to take risks, pursue opportunities, and embrace the unknown, both during my academic journey and beyond. This study abroad to DR also highlighted the importance of effective communication in cross-cultural settings. These skills will be invaluable in my future endeavors, whether in international collaborations, diverse workplaces, or building connections with people from various backgrounds.
