Abstract
In one semester students will attend six hybrid workshops hosted by the Department of World Religions and Cultures. Each workshop will address the mechanics and components of persuasive writing to assist the department’s graduate students with assigned coursework. Students will read one assigned textbook and assess their peers’ writing samples using rubrics provided by the instructor. Doing so will help to develop a cohort and improve the quality of writing for assigned coursework as well as the final exit portfolio.
