The School of Communication at Western Michigan University provides educational opportunities to approximately 800 undergraduate majors, 150 undergraduate minors and 30 graduate students in addition to supporting active research programs in digital media and journalism; film, video, and media; interpersonal communication; strategic communication; and communication studies.
They are committed to the research and advanced study of the art and science of communication in a way that integrates theory and practice. In their scholarship and teaching they seek to promote a culture that values diverse perspectives and emphasizes the ethical implications of communication.
