Abstract
This project is an experimental novel about a home for traumatized children. The novel is unusual in that while it is intended for adults, the majority of the novel is from children’s points of view. It takes other elements commonly associated with children’s literature, like fairy tales and fantastical happenings, and blends them in with adult situations and elevated language, creating a new, blended genre. In addition, this novel experiments with the inclusion of image intertwined with text, creating a new reading experience.
