Abstract
The Ministry of Higher Education in Saudi Arabia encourages Saudi students to study abroad. Currently there are estimated to be 106,858 Saudi students studying in the USA. Extent research, which has not focused on Saudi student experiences to date, has shown that even a single negative event can dramatically reduce the chances a will student completing their degree. Thus identifying and describing the context and obstacles (environmental, cultural and psychological) Saudi students face during their study abroad experiences, which affect the student’s ability to complete their degree goals. Primary statistical analysis will utilize the general linear model (regression and ANOVA).
