Abstract

The present study will examine the relationship between confidence and clinical judgment accuracy. The literature on the subject has generally been inconsistent, with some studies showing no relationship between confidence and judgment accuracy, while others show an overconfidence bias. This study aggregates the data from all available studies on confidence and judgment to provide an overall effect size of the relationship.
