Abstract

The four presentations of this symposium describe research relevant to human strengths across four populations: Karen refugees, students in danger of dropping out, couples seeking therapy, and individuals in therapy. Each presenter will highlight positive characteristics of their study populations that promote growth and successful outcomes. Implications for counseling psychology practice will be discussed.
