Abstract
As I examine the current curricula in schools, notice the changing national and state guidelines for education, and understand the growth in technology, it is easy to see that the new developments in computers, programs, and even calculators should be part of every child's education. Implementing these tools can be very helpful, useful, and exceptional aides to students' learning and education. (Driscoll, 2002) However, without proper instruction and appropriate use, technology can restrict our students from understanding basic concepts. As we utilize various forms of technology in the classroom, it is important to find and use the most appropriate forms of instruction for effectively using these tools to improve students' understanding.
