Abstract
The goal of this paper is to present a brief description and evolution of the Alternative Minimum Tax, enumerate existing problems affecting the Alternative Minimum Tax, recommend possible solutions to fix the Alternative Minimum Tax and provide tax planning advice to avoid the Alternative Minimum Tax.
