Abstract
The purpose of this paper is to identify the best instructional methods needed to set-up an effective diverse classroom, ensuring success for all students. Given the startling achievement gap between minorities and white students, there is clearly something that needs to be done. The author was determined to uncover what it is that effective teachers are doing and what she, as a future educator, could use in the classroom.
