Abstract
My project will outline the steps necessary to verify several physical parameters of transiting exoplanets. An introduction is presented, followed by a discussion of the equipment used in the project. I will also discuss the software used for data reduction. A detailed explanation of the observatory that was built for the project is presented. A discussion of the pitfalls and their possible resolution is also included.
Throughout, I will discuss problems inherent in the equipment. I will also describe the particular problems I had during the project.
The project shows how data that was developed by others can be analyzed. The calculated results are consistent with published exoplanet parameters.
