Abstract
As the concept of public education broadens, and as the importance of all experiences related to the formation of an individual's total self is realized, the public schools are seen in a new perspective. The public schools become one link, albeit an important link, in a complex, tightly interwoven chain of institutions, organizations, and individuals concerned with the education of the whole child.
The purpose of this study, therefore, is to compile a comprehensive listing of all agencies, institutions, and organizations offering assistance to children enrolled in the Battle Creek, Michigan, Public Schools. This study will make a brief statement outlining the services offered by each organization, and will also provide the potential user with directions for securing this aid
