Abstract
This article discusses the ritual and tradition in Cambodia of using ting mong or scarecrows to fight evil spirits related to the coronavirus. The article details the government response to the COVID-19 pandemic in addition to the impact the coronavirus has had on Cambodia’s economy. The article features Buddhist nun Prum Rith and Buddhist monk Kheng Prum from Cambodia.
