Abstract
This article discusses feelings of guilt experienced by many individuals who are not suffering from the COVID-19 pandemic. The article details Buddhist doctrine, specifically the Sallatha Sutta or “The Arrow” and ideas of suffering and helping others. Mindfulness teacher Rhonda Magee is featured in the article. The article also discusses Mahayana Buddhism, bodhisattvas, and the doctrine of “The Middle Way”.
