Abstract
This article details the response of certain Christian leaders in the U.S. to the COVID-19 pandemic, arguing that many faith leaders are not following Christian doctrine or the teachings of Jesus. Issues of mass death, reopening, and the citation of sin as a cause for the coronavirus are discussed in the article. Liberty University, R. R. Reno, editor of First Things, Pastor John Piper of the Bethlehem College & Seminary, Minister Ralph Drollinger, leader of President Trump’s cabinets’ bible study, and Minister Robert Jeffress, a close associate of President Trump, are featured in the article.
