Abstract
This article discusses ethical issues faced by healthcare and medical professionals in the U.S. during the COVID-19 pandemic. This article features an interview with lawyer, co-founder, and chair of the Community Ethics Committee from Harvard Medical School’s Center for Bioethics, Carol L. Powers, along with physician and CEO emeritus of the Christian Medical & Dental Associations, David Stevens. The ethical issues focused on involve vulnerable populations, the health and safety of healthcare workers, and a lack of medical supplies in U.S. hospitals.
