Abstract
This article centers around President Trump’s decision to name all houses of worship as “essential”. The article focuses on the discrepancy between federal and state policies on houses of worship. In addition to discussing the issue around freedom of religion during the pandemic, the article also explores financial issues churches are now facing, in addition to issues revolving around performing rituals virtually, such as the Catholic sacrament of Communion.
