Abstract
The article gives details on the May 8th, 2020 federal ruling declaring that Governor Andy Beshear of Kentucky cannot include religious services as a part of the ban on large gatherings. Places of worship in Kentucky will be required to follow health guidelines before opening back up to the public. Other state governors, such as the governors of Virginia and Michigan, are facing lawsuits over bans on large gatherings and social distancing policies that have affected places of worship.
