Abstract
This article details the government decision to offer loans to places of worship through the Paycheck Protection program from the Small Business Administration. The article also discusses places of worship that have had issues gaining access to these loans, such as the Greater Christ Baptist Church in Detroit, Michigan. The article features Rev. James Perkins of the Greater Christ Baptist Church, Paul Ott, chairman of the administrative council at Grace United Methodist Church, and Father Carl Beekman of the Church of St. Mary.
