Abstract
This article discusses the role Catholic monastic communities, particularly convents and nuns, have played in the international response to COVID-19. The article details outreach efforts related to medical assistance, hospitals, and education, in addition to how the daily lives of nuns have been impacted by the coronavirus. The article features Executive Director Sister Pat Murray of the International Union of Superiors General (UISG).
