Reflective Quote

Visiting the DR Congress was one of the most important parts of the trip. We had the opportunity to meet a representative from the Dominican Republic Congress, listened to his lecture and ask personal questions we have. This study abroad gives me a big mind to think differently about my goals and my profession because before I thought it’s only possible to work in the US but after this trip, I have learned that’s not the case. Now I am planning to work in a different country once I graduate from WMU. Working in a different country is amazing and especially when we work for the US embassy. Now based on my experience with this trip I can choose a better profession that allows me to work in the embassy or some other regions outside of the country. Overall, this abroad was great, and I hope all the Seita program recipients get to go to this study abroad in the future when they get the opportunity.
