Abstract

Dr. Bengt Arnetz will demonstrate how close-to-real-time data collected in large knowledge organizations, including healthcare systems, are being used to promote organization-wide, goal- and mission-driven behaviors resulting in improved job satisfaction, patient satisfaction, and bottom-line performance. This talk will also highlight the importance of using information technologies to promote healthcare system-wide personnel engagement, empowerment, and goal-driven behaviors, focused on both the “Whats,” i.e., what is expected out of me as an individual agent, and the “Hows,” skills and tools needed to achieve the “Whats.”
