Abstract
In this article, two university-level writing teacher educators describe their experiences in the Spring 2020 as they abruptly moved their spring practica and first-year writing courses to emergency remote teaching online. The authors share takeaways and guiding principles that emerged from the shift to emergency remote teaching that can be applied in similar contexts and beyond.
